How to Track Multiple Brand Deals and Deadlines

Two or three deals at once is where things slip: a missed draft date, a forgotten invoice, a brand still running your ad months later. Brands notice, and they renew with creators who make them look organised.

Track six things for every deal

  1. Stage: pitched, negotiating, contract signed, creating, submitted, revisions, approved, posted, invoiced, paid.
  2. Content due date, and when the brand must approve by.
  3. Revisions: how many rounds are included and how many you've used.
  4. Usage rights: what was agreed and the date they end.
  5. Exclusivity: the category and end date, so you don't sign a clashing deal.
  6. Invoice: when you sent it, when it's due, and whether it's paid.

The weekly ten minutes

Once a week, look at what's due in the next 7 days, what's waiting on the brand, any rights ending soon, and any invoice past its due date. That's the whole system.
