Most budgets fail for the same reasons: a bill nobody planned for, a month that isn't like the others, or one bad week that makes the whole thing feel pointless. This 2027 budget planner is built around those problems, so it still works in March.
Launch price until 31 December 2026. The price goes up by about 25% on 1 January 2027.
What makes it different
- Budget from payday to payday, not the 1st of the month. Paid on the 25th, or the last working day? February runs from your January payday to the day before your February one.
- Your three-payday months found for you, if you're paid weekly or fortnightly, so the extra money gets a job before it lands.
- Irregular bills, saved for in advance: list costs like car insurance, MOT, the TV Licence, Christmas and birthdays. It works out what to set aside each month, and warns you if a bill is due before the pot is full.
- Leftovers roll over to next month, and overspending says "cover it from a category with money left" instead of turning everything red.
- A buffer for surprises, for the costs no list can predict.
- No bank login and no subscription. Pay once; your numbers stay in your own file.
What's inside
- Set Up: how often you're paid (monthly on a date, last working day, last Friday, fortnightly or weekly) and your take-home pay.
- Budget: every category for all 12 months. Set it once, change any single month by typing over it, and aim for "Left to give a job" = 0.
- Spending log for up to 1,500 entries, each placed in the right budget month automatically.
- This Month: pick a month to see planned, rolled over, available, spent and left for every category.
- Year: spending month by month, your irregular bills pot, savings and debt-free date.
- Savings Goals: target and date in, monthly amount out, with progress bars.
- Debt Payoff: up to 10 debts, snowball or avalanche, a month-by-month plan for up to 10 years, your debt-free date and total interest.
- Monthly Review: what went well, what surprised you, one thing to change.
